Introduction to the O.E.Z. cut diamond, (the new O.E. cut) Tuesday, September 12, 2006 Hohoemi Brains, Inc. The O.E. cut has been attracting the diamond industry's attention, for transcending the Excellent cut in brilliancy, scintillation, and dispersion. It has acquired patent from Japan, Europe, U.S.A. and other countries, for 58 faceted round diamonds. Invented with precise optic analysis and study of visual perception. We believe the 4Cs are not the only standard to judge diamonds beauty, and the new standard are permeating through the G.I.A and through the market. The new standard is to put more gravity on a face up appearance (brightness, fire, and scintillation), under the diamond cut quality. Also, by using O.E. cut theory, we developed and are distributing O.E. fancy shape such as O.E. Rainbow, O.E. Princess, O.E. Prince, O.E. Oval, and O.E. Pear shape. We were seeking farther to an ideal cut by compiling everything we have studied. The O.E.Z. cut is the ideal cut we are applying patent for. It is developed under the concept of maximizing the brilliancy and maximizing the yeild (weight ratio from rough diamond) against rough diamond. The O.E.Z. cut diamond has 66 facets, 8 more facets on the pavilion (lower half of the diamond) than the O.E. cut. We are convinced that the O.E.Z. cut has arrived to the goal in the art of cutting diamond. The O.E.Z. cut diamond has exceeded O.E. cut in brilliancy, scintillation, and dispersion. Since the brightness has increased, it looks larger even with 8 more facets. The characteristic of O.E.Z. cut is, although it is constructed to be seen from the table top angle, brilliancy will be kept even in the slanted angle. The O.E. cut diamond transcends brilliancy against Excellent cut diamond. The Excellent cut has one advantage, it has higher weight ratio against the rough diamond since the O.E. cut diamond is slightly thinner than the Excellent cut diamond. By having the same or higher yield with the Excellent cut, against the rough diamond, the O.E.Z. cut overcame the weakness of the O.E. cut. Production cost is high but the combination of cut to rough weight ratio and the high brilliancy can make the O.E.Z. cut diamond profitable merchandise.
